Coastal Carolina UAS Fly-In

We are seeking UAS teams within emergency services to join us for a weekend of realistic training and discussion on UAS systems

Proposed Agenda

Friday Jan. 17th:

Cape Fear Community College BB&T Auditorium 18:00-22:00

4500 Blue Clay Rd. (North Campus)

- Keynote Speaker – Darshan Divakaran, UAS engineer, NCDOT Division of Aviation

- Case study review – Using Drones to deliver aid to Forward Operators in distress.

- Case study review – Manned and Unmanned ISR assets at Indy 500, and Superbowl

- Panel discussion - Use of multiple drones within an airspace during an emergency.

- Dinner to be provided

- Vendors onsite

Saturday Jan. 18th: Black River Search and Rescue Exercise (Weather Dependent) 09:00-15:00

- UAS Missions integrated with search and rescue teams on the ground

- Practical exercises

- Air Boss Integration training

- Detection system for UAS

- Lunch Provided onsite

There is NO CHARGE for this event. Sponsor Hotel is the Holiday Inn Express & Suites University Center. Please call (910)392-3227 for reservations and tell them you are attending the Coastal Carolina UAS Fly in. The room Rate is 76.00 Per night. All reservations need to be completed by December 19th to receive this rate.
